The Best Gosh-darn Tech List this side o' the Mississippi

Hey Techies!

Thanks for those of you who could help on such short notice last Saturday. We did a great job of prepping the set to be built but unfortunately that was only the beginning. Duh duh duh!

If you are on Build Crew, it is expected that you will show up to all work parties, and show up on time ready to work. We had a slight problem with tardiness last week so I would like to remind you to please, please try to be there at 10, which might mean shooting for 9:45 or 9:50 to give yourselves that extra buffer room.

The next work party is scheduled for Saturday, September 17th from 10am-6pm at Lincoln High School. (Yes, that is a 6. But always know that if we finish early like we did last week, I will never force you to stick around for no reason. Those kind of early releases are rare, but they can happen if enough people show up ready and eager to work)

Work parties are every Saturday. Attendance is just as important as attending rehearsal is for the actors or attending the doctor is for your health... or attending the work parties is for your health. Kidding. But seriously do come.

Now that we've got that out of the way, here are some positions!

BUILD

Everyone! Yay! Friendship! Sharing! Communism!

There was also one person who I talked to today about crew but whose name I do not yet know but I promise I will find a place for you.

Much like the play itself, your roles on tech crew are subject to change. Due to the nature of the play and how it is being formed, we do not yet know all the details of how it will run. Because of this, crews may grow or shrink in size accordingly. That said, for now you can consider this a pretty good estimate of what the future of crew will look like for you all.

Also, something which is long overdue:

Important Dates. Yay!

Sunday, October 16th, noon-10pm: Cue-to-cue

October 17th - 19th: Dress rehearsals (keep the hours 3:30-10:00 open as exact times have not yet been decided)

October 20th - 23th: The first week of performances

Wednesday, October 26th: Pick up rehearsal (Time TBD)

October 27th-29th: Second week of performances

If you have a conflict for any of these dates contact me immediately as these are vital dates which almost all technicians will need to keep available.

Thank you all for reading that block of text and see you next Saturday!

-Ben Pagano
